Program Director
Taylor Johnston

Taylor JohnstonTaylor’s journey into camp and retreat ministry began later than many, at the age of 25, when she was invited to serve as a counselor for a week of camp. This experience opened Taylor’s eyes to the profound impact that a week of camp can have, not only on youth but on everyone involved. During seminary, Taylor spent summers working at Greene Hills United Methodist Camp and Retreat Center, where she discovered a place where her passions for nature, education, and spiritual growth could converge. This experience solidified Taylor’s belief that God had called her to this unique and transformative ministry. After seminary, Taylor continued to nurture her love for camp by seeking every opportunity to engage in camp life, both as a pastor and an advocate for the importance of camping ministry. It was no surprise when Taylor announced her call to pursue camp and retreat ministry full-time. She is thrilled to join the team at Camp Agape as Program Director, where she will continue to create spaces for all to encounter God in creation.

Jake Lusk

Jake LuskHailing from the mystical land of South Williamsport, Jake was first introduced to the camp and retreat ministry at 12 years old when Jake attended his first weeklong camp at Camp Greene Hills. Through the first week, and over the next 5 years, Jake’s love of camp grew into a burning passion. After aging out of camp, this passion burned on in the form of Summer Staff. After he spent 6 summers running programs, assisting with maintenance, having a meaningful impact on campers’ lives, and just having a blast he finally heard God’s calling into the camp and retreat ministry that had been ringing since that very first week of camp. Jake is excited to live out God’s call on his life at Camp Agape.
