2025 Camp Theme
Rooted in Faith: Camp Bible Study Curriculum Overview
This year’s Bible study curriculum, Rooted in Faith, encourages campers to explore their relationship with God while fostering growth, deepening faith, and building a supportive community. Each day focuses on a unique theme:
- Covenant Building: Campers learn about trust and promises by exploring God’s covenant with Noah, creating their own “Camp Covenant” to encourage kindness and cooperation.
- God’s Creation: Through nature walks, campers appreciate the beauty of creation and begin to understand their role as stewards of the environment.
- Brave Spaces: Inspired by Joshua 1:9, campers engage in a “Brave Steps” activity, practicing courage in their daily lives with the support of peers and faith.
- Young Voices: Using 1 Timothy 4:12, campers celebrate their talents in an “Affirmation Circle,” reinforcing community through encouragement.
- Love and Acceptance: A “Diversity Quilt” activity highlights the beauty of diversity and the importance of love and respect, as everyone is created in God’s image.
- Service and Stewardship: Campers explore serving others and being responsible stewards of creation.
By the end of the week, campers will have deepened their faith and received badges to symbolize their growth in love, courage, and community.
